@joz @Jakeyb77_Redux Should organise a drive day cruize followed by a GTG night ;) I might actually do that later in the year for about a dozen driving/hifi enthusiasts, a weekend perhaps. I know some very decent driving roads that wind through the Grampians, lots of fun and zero traffic 😎

Don't know if whoever comes would keep up though 😜

So did you pick a date for us to see if we can keep up? :)

Now this is a stupidly fast street car.

The Rimac Nevera - 2.08 seconds from 0-60mph, quarter mile in 8.62 seconds. Only 1914hp, 2360Nm of torque.

My dream car is weirdly a BMW M3 Touring.

I could just about have one too but that kind of money on a car doesn't seem appropriate :(

Will just stick with my increasingly modified M140 until it's time for a sporty electric car (once they exist).

If someone is buying it for me AND paying for the maintenance I'll take any kind of Pagani. They're just art.

Yeah I'm the same. Love the M3 touring. I can't justify the price/performance when it's wasted driving on the road. You just can't stretch it's legs unless you're on a track. I can kind of understand if you have an Autobahn or purely want it to track. I can EASILY get in trouble in the Focus ST on the road and the M3 is twice the horsepower. There is the M330i touring and 340i touring which I don't think is coming to Australia. Not as good looking as the M3 though.

Bolwell Nagari.

Loved the original back in the distant past.

Love to try the new one, and Aussie made!

A Series I Jaguar E-Type 3.8 "Flat Floor" Roadster, 1961.

Why? It's a Jaguar and the most beautiful car ever made and it would complement my F-Type perfectly.

No, I have never driven one, but my Dad's boss gave me a ride in his when I was 5. It began my love affair with cars and especially the Jaguar Marque. Almost 6 decades later the love is alive and well.

If any car were an option I go with the original Ford Ac Cobra ( 427 ). 🐍

<snip>

That model is certainly beautiful and has maintained its beauty for me since I first wanted one back in the early '60s.

Unfortunately, performance-wise it no longer measures up—as is common with so many of my youthful wish-list vehicles. So I'll only spend my imaginary money on one if it's upgraded to current performance standards while maintaining its classic looks all around.🤤

Then you need an Eagle E-Type.

Failing that buy an original E-Type and an F-Type for everyday use.

I love my F-Type V8S convertible, my daily driver, in fact my only car. Totally reliable and a joy to drive, has all the modern touches one could desire and, more importantly, a huge smile factor. It's a little bit mad but in a good way.
