If you could afford any car?

Even if I had endless funds, I still don’t think I would go to the upper levels.

As a daily driver the Audi RS6 wagon interests me.

For the weekend the Cayman GT4S, would be decent or the next gtr, details pending.

Only one (two) for me.

The original Lancia Stratos Stradale (I would have a group 4 if I am gifted one)

I would say no however to the modern remake of the Stratos.

Yeah nice! I was always a 037 man but no v6 unlike the Stratos.

1970s Rolls Royce. I have driven one ( belonging to someone else ), and people stopped to look, and waved !

Otherwise 1930s Packard, or 1970s Cadillac or Lincoln Continental.

These just exude class and character.

Cheers,

Dennis

For the Caddy, and the Lincoln, I think it's spelt crass.

I saw a Caddy parked outside Hamilton's Motors (Porsche dealer) in Melbourne back in the late 80's. Had a peek through the window and the insides of the doors were fur lined and there was plenty of chrome on the dash. 😄

Tesla Model S Plaid :)

I love fast cars but I just can't warm to the Tesla's yet. I just wish they had a sportier look. For that price I expect something that looks eye catching. I think they look too plain. Like a 80's/90's Celica.

1956 Chevrolet Nomad

I prefer the shorter fins of the '56 to the '57. These weren't made in huge numbers (7.886) so aren't cheap these days. The factory 265/283 V8's have usually been replaced by bigger small blocks. I've even seen a couple with the Corvette LS6 as well as the odd big block.

Rear seat folds flat so plenty of room for the Dobermanns. I don't actually own a Dobie but they would be the must-have breed for a 1950's American classic station wagon.
