bryanlam Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Can you take a better photo at the cable and the connector? How old is the cable? where did you buy them? do you still have invoice? It would help your sale. Thanks
matt200sr Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 here we go again  Seriously... nice cables glwts
Guest guru Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 They are genuine cardas cables ,factory terminated with cardas rhodium RCA plugs, probably 10 to 12 years old, originally they sold for around $350-$400, copper litz cable, sound good with cheaper electronics. Just helping.
Jeffro Posted April 6, 2013 Author Posted April 6, 2013 Thanks for the help.......I think!! I still have a pair between dac and cd player in my not too cheap system and they do very nicely. It was only with my pair I am now selling, when they were in the mix between power and pre, that it became too much of a good thing.
Guest guru Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Thanks for the help.......I think!! I still have a pair between dac and cd player in my not too cheap system and they do very nicely. It was only with my pair I am now selling, when they were in the mix between power and pre, that it became too much of a good thing. The reference to cheaper electronics referred to the tonal balance from the cables, most cheaper electronics sound a bit thin through the midrange and the cardas quad link helps to give a bit more body. Sorry for the perceived slight, it wasn't intended.
Jeffro Posted April 7, 2013 Author Posted April 7, 2013 No worries, thanks for expanding and clearing that up
