Does anyone know anything about it?

Theres quite a lot to like about the concept of feeding in the exact position of speakers into the surround decoding algorithm.

... but I suspect what we have here is a tool to "turn garbage sound, into acceptable surround"  (ie. fix speakers placed willy nilly... and turn it in to something workable) ..... as opposed to "make good HT better".

It will be interesting to see whether surround decoders which allow for this sort of thing (totally flexible speaker positions) ever come to the home HT market.   Theres some real merit to increasing channel counts a lot .... but only if the decode understands the true position of all the sources.

yes agree so much b.s. going on to dumb down HT in the home. call it something else but it is not Home Theatre as such.

one review on this system has the guy admitting to sweeps, with out the nearly $1000 plastic sub, showing the speakers went down to just above 80HZ.. that is not bass. then with the sub, he stated the smaller sub is not worth getting, he did NOT quote the hz the sub got down to. yest on another site it was measured down to 42 hz.. that is not movie bass.

so its a compromise as many reviews start by declaring " if you dont want speaker wires running everywhere in your room blah blah... but you need 4, yes 4 power points just for the speakers and from readings the power cable is not that long anyway.. so extension cords are needed. plus the hot control box needs cables/power and the sub needs power and its all wireless? with drop outs. oh and seems wont be here until mid 2022, from another forum.

so maybe the bugs will be sorted, the sub wont cost the same as a svs pb1000 pro and you wont need to buy 1 specific tv for use as a centre channel...or sit in that elusive triangle and not move out of it. haha and all for $3500?
