MusicForever Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 Did you upgrade to the bluesound in the last pic?

Bluesound is a down grade in term of DAC. This McIntosh sounds better. I use the Bluesound for streaming only and waiting for something better coming up in the future.
Dr K Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 This is a terrific pre-amp, so I'm curious. Given that you just purchased it from Tivoli Hifi two weeks ago, why the rapid turnover?

I want to experience what it is like to own a Mac and its sound signature and I have read somewhere that a Preamp could improve the sound immensely. In the end I blame my Denafrips T+ as if I have not heard The T+ I would be very happy with the Mac. The T+ suits my system better as I feed it into the Denon Amp. If I have a McIntosh Amp, it may be different again but I felt I need to move this on as a new buyer wants to be reassured that there is warranty remaining.
