Tweaky Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Very sad news my all time favorite comedian Sean lock died of cancer aged 58. He had suffered skin cancer a few years ago, but things had obviously progressed, as anybody that watched 8 out of 10 cats could have seen. with his voice changing and loss of weight. https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2021/aug/18/comedian-sean-lock-dies-aged-58
Grumpy Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Loved his work on 8 out of 10 and, yes, did notice his changing voice. A very funny, laid back fella with a dry and sometimes out there view RIP
Guest thethrowback Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 A real shame as I found his wry humour extremely funny. Apparently he was diagnosed with skin cancer back in 1990 and made a full recovery.
zippi Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Compilation of some of Sean's better stand-up bits - a very funny guy with unique comedic insight: 2
RankStranger Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 I missed this thread. Sean’s death really hurt. I got so much joy out of him over the years and there’s no one who does comedy like he did. A real loss. Just popped in to say that. 2 1
