Audiophiles who are interested in this cable level and willing to pay much for PC are the ones who passed meaningless debate of cables and understand secret ingredients to make a real high-end setup. Power treatments and setup are number one priority in many setup philosophy. 

Nordost Vahalla 2 is one of the very famour power cables and a treasure to own for some.I have moved to  Zensati full loom including their Angel power cable line, so this cable is a part of NLR.

 

The Vahalla 2 has configuration of 6 x 16AWG Silver-plated 99.999999% solid core OFC for hot and neutral polarity and 1 x 16 AWG conductor for Ground wire. Solid-core conductors are applied in most top-end power cable design as designers trust they have much less microphonic vs stranded wire

Vahalla 2 is not picky in application, it can be used for feed, source, pre and amp without limitation.  If you need to made some tough decision on where to use, make it as feed pc for power boards or conditioners/regenerators will give best bangs for bucks and next is to put on sources to give more improvement as source is usually sensitive to power quality. There is no shoes to fit all size, some time to experiment will tell you where is best

 

How about sound? You will be surprised on how much fine bass missed in your system after you put this cable in, also soundstage will be expanded, and this cable is very vey fast, try Latin guitar albums, you will understand what is fast verus slow and fast means more dynamic

 

 

Purchased from Australian retailer HeyNow Hifi in March 2021. It was a 10-week wait as Nordost only makes to order for Vahalla 2  to meet needed length with their “mechanically tuned” to optimise the ordered length to sound best

When I told my wife highend cables indeed made by silver or gold which their purity is higher than her jewelries, Wife acceptance factor seemed to be higher than  a big chunk and ugly amplifier

The Nordost presentation box is an excellent jewellery storage device. Am still trying to recover mine from my wife....the price you pay! Nordost Valhalla 2 Power Cords........sigh! GLWTS
