Mate, I'd really recommend looking at @Gieseler Audio DACs. They are exceptional value, locally made and have amazing clarity and soundstage. Clay has excellent customer service. Plenty of people in Melbourne have various versions that you could listen to.

Apologies for the distraction, i have decided to try a DAC update.

 

Thanks for the tips, i am not sure that the Giesler is suited to my system as it already quite revealing and clear.
