I am the second owner and I believe the original owner ( SMP ) bought them new from the Australian dealer. Here are some details I copied from the original Ad : " Great speakers, but they are just not getting any use. Retail in this custom colour of Maserati Blue, is just under $3,000. Come in their original packaging. 98 dB/8 ohm, 12 kgs. each and 26.7 cm/10.5 inches square. High output co-ax 10 inch full range driver. Stands not included ". I believe they make very good desk top monitors but I used them as my main stereo speakers. They do require a sub for that particular purpose. I used a REL T5i to great effect. They are extremely easy to drive and I used a two watt SET with no problems. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks Peter.
