Front.jpg.909ef0e4e82717fb9050ef4ef42b1875.jpgFurther information: This DAC/Pre amp was acquired from Dr Mike in Wollongong at the end of last year. Sections of this ad are taken from his original one with his permission.

My MP-D2 MK3 upgraded tube DAC.

Originally purchased as a MK2 in 2018 and fully upgraded internals to the MK3 in late Feb 2020. Identical to MK3 except that shell still says MK2.

Incredibly well specc'd for the price - https://www.musicalparadise.ca/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=97 and able to be upgraded to new versions, new DAC modules etc as you desire. This uses the ES9038PRO DAC chip

This has been setup for RCA output - so two capacitors have been upgraded (and the other capacitors removed) and two output tubes upgraded.

Has the following options:

- Full RCA upgrade with Mundorf Supreme Silver Oil capacitors

- Crystek 957 Femto Clocks

The original output tubes (2 x Russian 6H6) and capacitors (2 x Obbligato Gold) will also come with the unit.

Also comes with 2 X Amperex Bugle Boys 6922

Upgraded rectifier tube to Genalex Gold Lion U77/GZ34

Any further information please pm me.

Yep.  Great dac on all accounts.  Roll in the AKM 4490 or 4497 modules, swap caps till you drop, and tube roll to your hearts content.  There's talks that the designer will be releasing the ES9068AS modules next year -  I'll keep mine :)
