Hey folks,
I've got a few design and audio projects I require a spray booth for, is there anywhere affordable in Melbourne to rent one?
1-2 years spray painting experience, just need a cleaner environment to spray some satin finishes.
Body shops in my area (inner north) aren't really interested, I'm wondering if there are some co-working spaces that might?
Appreciate any thoughts.
Regards

At least in Brisbane there used to be these places where you could hire workshop space and equipment and even a booth, not sure if they are still around, or were in other cities.

Hey Ian,
Thanks for your input.
Yeah this is essentially what I'm looking for, still looking around to see if they exist in Melbourne.
Cheers

Googling I see booth hires, but what is affordable, is the make or break thing here.

Edit: hopefully someone is in the know on something affordable.

Yeah there's quite a few commercial booth hiring places more focused on automotive stuff (large booths etc), sadly prices out any smaller project stuff.
Just trying to see if there's anything else available, looks unlikely.

Thanks for your input, I've actually done that before too, full at home booth but was trying to avoid doing again..
With this VIC lockdown, made the decision to set it all up again.
Thanks all for the help.

Try approaching some furniture finishing/making places.

That's actually a great idea, thanks for the tip.
