Up for sale a set of Nordost Heimdall 2 Speaker cables. 4m as new condition - probably got about 100 hours on these. 

I fell in love with the Nordost sound a little while ago when I got hold of some Red Dawn speaker cables. I bought these assuming, correctly that they have all the same qualities and more that the Red Dawn have.

They offer effortless dynamics and a really fast, open sound.  I was especially impressed by the way that the Nordost handle the presence region and the treble region. They have the knack of treading the finest of lines, offering just the right blend of detail, rawness (not adding but expressing what's there) and realism. They are not sugar-coating cables and whilst I would describe them as warm, they are never sterile or dry - the are very matter of fact. They are also very "quiet" cables - which is a description that sounds like reviewer fluff, until you compare them to other conventionally designed speaker cables - they have a deep, dark soundstage where players just emerge with no overhang or sluggishness. They are also subjectively very fast cables which I found worked well with any genre of music that I cared to play through them.

I'm upgrading up the food chain, again...
