lucmor444 Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 Further information: Going active with my bed channels so no longer need this BAT designed 52kg monster. This amplifier is a fully balanced design, has been kept in a smoke and pet free environment , has never missed a beat in my many years of ownership and runs cool due to the massive heat sinks and ample power reserves. It does not have the front 'ears' as they were badly scratched prior to my ownership and not worthy to display! There is small mark/scratch/dent on the top left hand side of the front face plate (a simple bit of careful filing would remove this) and very minor marks on the top RHS of the faceplate. I have attached photos of these marks. I would suggest pick up is preferable to shipping due to the weight of the unit (I would also need to find suitable packaging as I do not have its original box) but can ship if needed. Open to offers. Some information on the amplifier is here: https://www.widescreenreview.com/news_detail.php?id=3726 Photos: 1
lucmor444 Posted August 3, 2021 Author Posted August 3, 2021 Please note this amplifier powers all 7 channels at 150wpc into 8 ohms (doubling to 300wpc into 4 ohms). It is basically the same as the RDA 7.1 reviewed here: https://www.audioholics.com/amplifier-reviews/integra-research-rda-7-1/rda-7-1-measurements-and-analysis
Zardoz Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 Wow, this amp was once a box I lusted after for years and I haven't seen one come up for sale until now. I'd be tempted, but not really sure I have a use for it in the immediate future due to repair bills for existing gear that I need to sort out first. Will monitor this thread, though. Someone is going to snap up a solid piece of kit! 1
Kdjjdk Will Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 from the days when manufacturers built not only reliable gear but it was beautiful too Now we are stuck with the Marantz porthole. This Integra Research power amp measured extremely well at Audioholics .GLWTS 1
