Berkel Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Hi, Never heard of this maker. Driver looks a bit like Tannoy dual concentric I used to have. Do you know the frequency range and sensitivity ? Do the speaker terminals accept banana plugs ? Thanks, Dennis
couchy Posted July 30, 2021 Author Posted July 30, 2021 Hi Yes Banana plugs fit, Not sure of exact range but remember they were made by Goodmans.
Gem100 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Yes, Goodmans, with the Inductive Coupled Technology (ICT) short-horn dual concentric tweeter. So no xover between the mid bass cone and the coupled tweeter as I understand it. I had a pair of the bookshelves, they were fun, GLWTS 1
tripitaka Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 I have had a pair of these for the past 20 years and still going nicely, they have a nice warm sound
Gem100 Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 Some good info on the Goodmans GLL ICT drivers here: http://www.hi-fiworld.co.uk/loudspeakers/66-knowledge/154-historically-speaking-the-final-part.html 2
