I had @ray4410 make this up for me to use with my Technics sl1210gae. 
 

I thought the design of the plug inlet on the Technics would allow a right angle plug alas what I needed was a left angle plug, a right angle - doesn’t fit

 

cable therefore  presents as new condition.

Is it possible to rotate the socket in your Technics 180-degrees (or replace it) so you can use this fine cable?

The cable I needed is a left angle iec then turned to the right so it's upside.
