A stunning 12 string Martin in style 35, with absolutely gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood back and sides.

1965 was the first year that Martin added a 12 string guitar to its catalogue (any earlier ones are custom shop orders). As such this guitar, in combination with the gorgeous BRW, will likely appreciate in value and collectibility long-term.

Has some minor top cracks (near soundhole) and a center seam separation below the bridgeplate, which have been repaired. Has a replacement ebony bridge but original bridgeplate, pickguard, tuners. The guitar has had a neck reset and plays beautifully with good action all the way up the fretboard. Includes the original hard case.

The guitar sounds as gorgeous as it looks, and takes only a light strum to elicit that 12 string jangle with harmonic overtones for days.

The guitar is set up and ready to go, with no work needed. It's ready for it's new home and you would be hard pressed to find a better looking or sounding 12 string at any price.

Gorgeous - good luck with the sale!

[All- Once was able to play a D-35 in the old Vintage and Rare shop in London many years ago.  The sound was sublime - but price out of my range being more than the asking price here - at that was in 1996.  This one looks better, is a 12 string and rare.  We are in a series of lockdowns.  Sell the second car and buy this!]
