Further information:Have had these since brand new. Speakers are in good working order and the equaliser was recapped and upgraded about 18 months ago. There is no degradation of the surrounds on the drivers. Have driven these with amps ranging from 50 watts up to a 1000. I had some timber stands made up for them. I was told the timber was Philippine mahogany but think it is Kwila or more recently called Merbau. Have had a lot of enjoyment from these speakers. I do have some Solid steel stands I had them on that I bought from Selby that I am selling too.

GLWTS - they always appealed to me just on the crazy design alone.

Thanks guys for the comments. They like a bit of power. In saying that I ran them on a Musical Fidelity A100 which was about 50 watts for quite a few years. When I hooked them up to a Yamaha pro amp which was 1000 watts they liked that. Had a lot of enjoyment with them. Have replaced them with some Focals.
