Rockford Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Further information: These were put together by my old man. They were cut by Andrew of Aslan Acoustics fame, using a ply that is hardwood with a Fijiian Cedar face. Driver is a Fostex FE206e full range. There is one small issue with the top horn inside area is about 10mm different in size (long story) on one speaker, I highly doubt it would affect the sound but thought I would mention it. These things are huge!! You will need a very understanding partner, they sound really nice, but won't do doof-doof music and the like. But can crank to insane sound levels with very small watts. They weigh a good 40kg each I reckon so need to be picked up with a LWB van or something. Obviously not at the moment with lockdown, but if you pay the money I will hold on to them until you can pick them up. Pay careful attention to this bit... hence their Coffin Moniker... Dimensions: 335mm x 440mm x 1830mm (I think the ply is 19mm thick) Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved. 5

Rockford Posted July 24, 2021 Author Posted July 24, 2021 Yep all good, Sold Pending payment. And yes you couldn't buy the wood for that. I think the stain cost more (3 tins from memory and still probably needed more) But I've got my value out of them so no point being silly with a price given they are not a commercial item and quite a niche product. 2
