Found this lone survivor on the kerbside chuck out. Anyone have any info?

Some cosmetic issues but sounds great!

Any ideas on what I should do with it? Serial number long gone

Very similar drivers to the Mk1 Merlins that I have, but the Merlins are a larger cabinet and have a front port.

Someone else might remember the name of that smaller model.

I can tell you that the tweeter is a Philips Mylar Dome.  Don't know what brand the woofer is but I believe the cone doping and the special sealing compound on the foam surrounds on the woofer were done by Richter themselves to get the treble rolloff they wanted and preserve the surrounds.  This is why the foams are still intact.

Ralph put his heart & soul into those early models.

Thanks everyone. This unit will be put up for sale shortly as I really have no use for it. DM me if you are interested :)

I thought they were Oracles too, but they don't have the front port like the Oracles in this post, which has the OR serial number.

might be a different version though.

They look familiar :) I think the no port was on a later version as I saw them for sale recently and chatted to the fellow about them. FREE is a nice price if I could get there hehe they sound alright when placed well, good highs and lows, im using mine as test speakers on a shelf for incoming amps.

Ummm blakey72 was keen on mine last year. Not sure id want you to waste ya time packing, 20 would be a good price tho, 50 id not bother. This versions is a bit different when the Aussies sold out, think it may even be a different driver 4 not 8 Ohms like mine are.
