Further information: Mains isolation transformer made by NEC. Multi tapped input and output can be used to get suitable AC mains voltage for connected equipment, for example a 220VAC input amplifier. Transformer is rated at 600VA. Transformer does not have a centre tapped secondary.

Transformer must be installed by a qualified person in an earthed metal box for safety. Using an isolation transformer removes DC from the mains and can reduce or eliminate hum/buzz from connected equipment transformers. This is a high quality transformer originally held as a spare for professional broadcast equipment.

hi

1. Does it have a 250v input tap? Would be useful if it does as melboure often goes higher than 250.

2. have u measure the output? Just an example say at output at 240 tap, is it lower or reasonably accurate?

thanks

Input wiring is shown on the 254V primary tap. Output is on 240V tap. Even on no load output voltages are quite accurate. The partly obscured primary tap is 254 VAC which was idea at my location.
