Misternavi Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 (edited) Further information: Selling due to moving and audio gear will be in storage for a long long time. Might as well save on storage cost. Looking fo a all in one unit under $600? this is it. Quad is owned by IAG who also owns LEAK audio (I think the Quad is similar to the New LEAK as specs are about the same. except for the DAC) This has been the best looking unit I’ve used and other family members had not problem using this as well. I was quite surprised by the performance of this all in one unit -easy to use and looks great and sounds great currently being used as a TV & apple TV sound system. The DAC is probably sounding a bit old compared to new offerings- I had the Topping D50 plugged into the analogue input and sound did improve slightly when playing high res music. Metal remote control is small and has source, volume, power and mute function. Only issue I had with this is the USB connected to the iPhone via charger cable it didn't play (I think it's prob. due to newer iOS. Bluetooth works fine. Postage included in price. Pick up I can take off $40 Bluetooth Tech with aptX 45w per channel Crystal CS4398 24bit DAC USB A and B input 2x Optical 1x Coaxial input 1x Coaxial output 2x RCA analogue input Freq Response 20Hz-30kHz input Sensitivity 450mV Input impedance 10kOhm S/N ratio >108db (H) 93.5mm x (w) 313mm x (D) 302mm 6.1Kg Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved. MTG Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 I quite like the little Quad - I used one with my TV system for the last few years. Currently its in place holder position with my Spatial M3s until I get preamp sorted. It does either job equally well. GLWTS
spammoj Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 Has some Peachtree styling vibes going on. Good looking unit!

David Walker Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 That's pretty. It's also cheap if it runs well: these were £600 back in 2015, plus another £100 for that sweet mahogany finish. Reviewers also seem to think it ideal for someone who likes a warm sound: https://www.whathifi.com/au/quad/vena/review http://totallywired.co.nz/quad_vena.html
