2021-Marketing_Flyer.jpg

For a little while there, I thought it may never happen, but our proposed Feb 18-20, 2022 show is signed, sealed, and will be delivered! Contracts are signed, payments have been made, and we've already booked more rooms than any previous show!

The interest from exhibitors was unprecedented, and for the first time ever we have now secured an entire additional level (Level 2) with an extra 13 rooms (already 3/4 sold) on previous shows. We've got Level 3 (!!) on standby just "in case".

We'll start to update the exhibitor and brands list next week, start ramping up the marketing from August, tickets will go on sale soon, and the countdown to what is hopefully the first Australian show back since COVID will be a cracker!

Well done Marc! It's hard to organise a simple family holiday at the moment. A huge achievement, then, to plan something like this. Fingers crossed!

As long as the F1GP doesn't decide to start the 2022 season earlier than usual, we should be fine!

We moved our show from November once they rescheduled, and then that got cancelled anyway. Though, I think it was a blessing in disguise as I suspect 2022 will see much less travel restrictions domestically, and hopefully even internationally.

Well, about time.  As I’ve said before, nothing to worry about.  If we have to go in to a lockdown, we’re in the perfect place!

Looking forward to tickets on sale, I’ll have the cc ready…

I think I've got hifi show deprivation syndrome!

Really looking forward to getting cured in Feb 2022.  :thumb:

I confess, from an organiser's perspective, the unexpected break was nice. Itching to get back into it now though!

Getting a show like this up and running in the current climate would be nothing to sneeze at.

I'll be driving down this time. It was a struggle last time to get all the 50+ LPs I bought at the record fair into the jet's overhead lockers.

I've already checked out some nice AirBNB accommodation between Albert Park & St. Kilda.

I'm hoping to take the ferry over to the land of two heads and do a lap of that as well.

Great news, we can share double bedroom accommodation. I hope you don't snore.

Plus you like fine dining, whilst I'm quite happy with a hamburger and chips for dinner.

Like a trouper!

Plus my diabetes (and old age) makes me get up every few hours during the night.

Sorry Bill, you're the wrong sex.

Mind you, if your planning a display, I'm happy to cart some gear down for you.

plenty of room in the old falcon wagon.

I brought a Pass Labs X250.5 back on the front passenger seat and a pair of Ambience 1800s in the back on a trip to Sickeneee and back (via a nice 2 day visit to western Plains Zoo at Dubbo).
