Plinius 8150 Service data request

Hi all,

 

I paid top dollar for a Plinius 8150 which as it turned out, had seen better days and now at my local tech.

 
Finding it hard to source any info/schematics on line. I’ve emailed  Plinius but heard they don’t often reply so cutting to the chase.

 

if anyone out there in Audio land can assist, that would be awesome. 
 

I really should be getting a refund but (surprise) the seller has gone AWOL.

hi , can you give a description of what the issues relate too ?  ive had one until earlier this year and never had a problem with this amp .......

Hi Shane, apologies for the late reply! 
It has a hum audible with no source or speakers attached and then once they are, it comes through the speakers. 
Tech couldn’t fix it.

I had to go through Westan for my Plinius 9200. They are the Australian distributor. They sent it to their own tech.

Ok. That sounds like a more positive  path than the one I took!
