The speakers are hand lacquered in the finest quality Piano Black finish. The craftsmanship involved in building speakers of this quality harkens back to the olden days with hand selected components with tight tolerances for the electronic components so that they are consistent with their reference prototypes.

Vienna Acoustics Celebrates 30 Years in Business With the New Haydn Jubilee Limited Edition. Although it looks similar to the Haydn Symphony Edition it has been completely re-engineered to an even higher standard to sound more open and musical. Something we weren’t sure was possible but our ears tells us it’s true.

Overview

The Haydn Jubilee is an homage to Vienna Acoustics' first bookshelf loudspeaker. Rather than celebrate with an ultra-expensive loudspeaker, Vienna Acoustics wanted to thank their customers and business partners so they engineered a superb performing loudspeaker and priced it very specially, thus production is limited to 500 pairs.

Designer Peter Gansterer took Vienna's classic bookshelf loudspeaker and incorporated his latest advanced technology including: the silk dome tweeters, X3P drivers and crossover layout.

The Haydn Jubilee speaker demonstrates musical precision that is unparalleled in its class. The loudspeakers come to life with the sound quality customers have come to expect from the Vienna Acoustics brand. The naturally transparent sound is underlined by its rich bass foundation, which is all the more remarkable given the speaker's compact dimensions. Musical instruments are depicted with full tonal colour, delicate harmonic structure and maximum precision.

Like Vienna Acoustic’s other high-end models, the Jubilee uses technically superior components such as the bass transducers with transparent X3P membranes. A large part of the natural, rich Jubilee sonic structure begins right there. Individual crossover components, such as manually selected capacitors and metal-oxide film resistors with a tolerance of less than 1%, are chosen for their inductance resistance and calibrated for each speaker and are the same high quality as those used in other Vienna models.

Great care has been taken during the design process to ensure that the Jubilee produces the best and truest sound, yet is still simple to place and use. Each individual component of these speakers is tailor-made for Vienna Acoustics.

Finally, the speaker cabinet is hand-crafted in Europe, covered with multi-layer piano lacquer and finished to the same extremely high standard as all other Vienna Acoustics cabinets. These speakers are designed with the audiophile in mind and produce nothing but the best possible sound.

In The News

“In an important way, what the Haydn Jubilee does so well is be better than the sum of its parts. It’s a fine imaging, dynamic-sounding, and inherently musical loudspeaker that only draws attention to the music it is playing, regardless of the type of music being played. Many loudspeakers do this, but the Haydn does it with such effortless charm and elan, you can’t help but like it because of the way it makes you like music.” Alan Sircom, Hi-Fi Plus
