AbeShark Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Best bang for buck headphones out there. If I didn’t have a pair I’d be all over these. 1
Luxmaniac Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Can anyone rate these compared to HD800S cans? I've recently acquired a used set but not 100% sure yet if I can live with such highly analytical detail, as amazing as it is, and find myself already looking around at alternatives. Very nearly jumped on your Focal Clears @akqrate

AbeShark Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 (edited) Put it this way, I’ve kept my Ananda and sold my Clear. I bought and sold the HD800S within the week. Found them analytical, brittle in treble and light on bass, although that could have also been my pairing with the Topping A90. The Ananda are so musical, with nice bass and not as sharp treble. They’re nice and gentle on your ears too, so not at all fatiguing for long periods of time. Crinacle, one of the top rated reviewers and EQ makers, rates the Ananda as the most tonally correct headphone to date that he’s heard. Edited July 9, 2021 by akqrate 1
