Item: Turntable
Price Range:  $650 - $1K (a little over is OK)
Item Condition: New or Used
Extra Info:

Please : NO Rega's (or TechDas!)  😆

I need a temporary table for a few months, until my permanent upgrade arrives from Japan.

Will consider anything that's not as above.

Does not have to have a cart, although fine if it does.
It should have a tonearm of some sort.
And a plinth.
And power.
And actually work perfectly without me spending another grand to get it to spin, or even mention a technician's name within it's earshot.

Should be good looking enough without makeup to feature in a few amateur YouTube vinyl porn videos.

Needs to be in Victoria as I don't want to ship something cheap like this and have it break and cost me even more.

Will pickup Melb metro - cash, or your your terms (as long as it doesn't involve me or the wife in a compromising position).

cheers

To sell it, maybe.

I wouldn't have one of those things in my house if you paid me - looks like a washing machine!  😅

I’ve a Luxman PD-284 I’m considering selling in Melb (excluding Grace F8 cart/stylus that took me too long to find and sounds oh so sweet). Dust cover a little… dusty and needs a polish, otherwise faultless.

Probably going to sound biased, but what the heck. Please be careful with Aussie Audio Mart. I hear at least one complaint a week from members who have been ripped off on that site. There is no moderation, no background checks, and the scammers are all over it. It is run by Canadians with no interest in protecting the buyers.

I have an offer in from an SNA regular who is going to loan me something for a few months until my new permanent table arrives.

Thanks to them!

Closing this now, with thanks for all the contributions since last night.

Youse are top blokes.   🖤
