Further information:

The SP9 is an great performer, a very reliable and uncomplicated preamp from Audio Research. The SP9 is a feature rich preamp which has an excellent phono stage that can be setup to run either MM or MC cartridges. It is currently set to work with MM cartridges and I had been using it with the Denon DL-110 and DL-160 both of which are high output MC cartridges.

The SP9 is a tube rolling dream preamp, it only requires two 6DJ8/ECC88/6922 tubes in operation which don't need to be a matched pair, given one double triode valve is used for the gain stage and the other one for the phono stage, allowing one to fine tune the sound as they wish using different tubes.

I will be including a good variety of NOS valves, 2x made in Holland, 1x made in USA, 1x made in UK, one matched pair from the Soviet Union, so six valves in total. Comes with original manual , QA certificate, etc.

If you are in the market for a superbly built preamp from a reputable name brand made in the USA then look no further. All photos are from the actual unit for sale, it presents in excellent cosmetic and working condition.
