They are punchy and seem to give quite a flat frequency response (from what I could tell in an untreated room). I have treated them very carefully and have never loaned them out. They haven't been blasted with excessive volumes either. A friend and I made some DIY stands for these (see photos) which adds to the aesthetic appeal for some already great-looking monitors. I also bought some acoustic foam (see photos) and I still have all the original packaging and power cables for the monitors themselves (again, see photos). There are a couple of shallow surface scratches on one monitor (from the plug of a HDMI cable I think) but they can't even be seen in some lighting positions - it was hard to get a clear photo of them, but I did and have included them below.
