bluepill193
Thanks guys, will contact Adrian @CASH: I opened it up again, took 2 fuses out to check and clean. They were intact and problem still there after that, no luck
Guest CASH
wasted, if it was only due to fuse blown problem, then u would have only needed to buy new fuse to replace.

bluepill193
I left the amp with him, he will contact me when he finds out what is wrong. Likely one of the power modules gone bust

I don't mean to interrupt. Let"s say when I turn on the amp it goes into protection mode but after awhile of turning on and off it is working again. This would not be fuse problem right? Guest CASH
might be capacitor's? not the fuse...

bluepill193
Yep I brought to Adrian at Adelphi. Out of 7 channels, 5 power modules were shot. These were bypassed and so I am left with 2 channels, powering my surrounds now. According to Adrian, these class D amps are not repairable once defective, can only bypass the defective channels to allow the rest to power on. He charged me minimal, less than a hundred.
