benhu Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 My Mitsubishi Starmex drainage pipe is leaking at the junction where the pipe from the 1st room joins the 2nd room before water drains out thoufh the 2rd room. ===It doesn't flood and occasional water dripping and floor is wet at the corner. The outer trunking of the pipes are silicone sealed and I do not want to open it to ;leave it to the experts. Btw, warranty perioed is over. Is it a small or big job required or can the aircon repairman cut and rejoin the pipes if assumption that pipes were not properly installed by Gain City. Any experience from any brother here?
Jag Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Drainage pipes leaking usually leaves from as little as continuous dripping of water to as much as a 2-4 drops of water per second. There is a good chance that there might already be a a build up of water, moisture and even mould inside the trunking due to the leaky drain pipe. I would call repair guys to assess and repair. Big or small job depends on the accessibility of the bad joint.
benhu Posted November 30, 2020 Author Posted November 30, 2020 Is this a job best suited to a sanitarty and plumbing contractor or should it be the company that installed the aircon system? Thank you.
