Rustynail Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Hi for a living rm of 45 sqm 18k,20k or 24k btu is enuff? Thanks.
YANG Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Fwahh... Just the living room alone already a 2rm flat size?!! No 24k no talk man!!!
Guest wcseow Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 My opinion is to go for 2 lower btu units instead of one big btu one. Faster to have the whole area cool down and avoid hotspot if the whether is hot. My previous place, I did replace 2 original with one and regret. Fan swing left/right/up/down also no use. Lol... in the end, install one more. Hope it help.
vink Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 For optimal cooling/coverage for the whole area, likely need 2 FCUs to do the job. Otherwise condenser would be working 100% most of the time.
justDaniel Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 I would suggest that you have 2 FCU. Bigger capacity FCU blowing to areas where you have more people seating and where your hifi equipment generating heat. Smaller FCU blowing area where there are low usage.
Guest jonlee Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 If $ not issue, have 2 x System1 for the living room. To be more $ effective, have 2 x System2 for the living room, with each condenser also powering another bedroom. Assuming 1 living room + 3 bedrooms, 2 x System2 (as above), plus 1 x System1 (for MBR).
HoSaybo Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 How one configure the air con depends also on usage pattern. If it is required to work with the rooms at the same time, avoid connecting with the room. If you are not likely to on both together, can connect 2 x sys 2 , each with one room + living. This will avoid stressing the compressor. In audio context, like high power amp driving speakers, effortless most of the time cost operating way below the max. Sent from my IN2010 using Tapatalk
synthesis1624705793 Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 The room size requires 2 x 12k btu
