Manufactured between 1976 and 1980, the Yamaha B2 is an amplifier that’s truly magical. Back then, both Yamaha and Sony wanted to create transistors that emulated how a vacuum tube operates and that’s how the V-FETs were born. Even Nelson Pass commissioned his own batch of transistors that went into the SIT amplifiers, which are now discontinued and sought after.

Here’s your chance to own a slice of V-FET magic. With 100w/channel into 8 ohms and 140w/channel into 4 ohms, this amp will rock with most speakers and of course, the Yamaha NS-1000.

Amplifier condition is conservatively rated at 8/10 given its age, and the flimsy original binding posts have been switched out for sturdier options. Needless to say, the amplifier is fully functional, along with those huge gorgeous VU meters.

Am asking $1999 for this unit, drop me a message @ 96315005 to discuss. Pictures are available upon request.
