Hi folks, I need some help here. One of my cashcard expired yesterday 31-July, therefore it shows Err 5C on the IU (as expected).

 

I tried to initiate a refund on POSB ATM today, and it says something about invalid card. I know I have refunded at ATM before, but I find it strange it cannot refund at POSB ATM. Tomorrow I'll try at another bank ATM.

 

Any suggestions?

 

ps: I called NETS 24x7 hotline, kept me waiting forever... I gave up after 15 mins.

Earlier this week I did refund for my NETS Cashcard because it expired but it is no longer allowed via ATM

You need to fill up the appropriate form (I took it from DBS Bank) and submitted the form with the expired card.

By right, it should work. Not sure why yours doesn’t. I’ve just did a refund using OCBC teller about 2 weeks ago and it worked.

 

Yes pls try another bank like OCBC/UOB teller.

UPDATE:

 

Hi all, thanks for all your suggestions. A quick update. This morning I tried the UOB ATM, and it gave me "service not available" message. I went to try the POSB ATM again, and this time it works!

Managed to get back my $55.

 

Not sure what caused the POSB ATM cashcard refund failure yesterday.

Haha...that's why I say by "right" it should work. :P
