Hero1624706161 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Hi - I know there is another music and concert blu ray thread here, but this thread is different....... I hope members can share your most played blu ray concert here. Why? Simply because our ACTIONS speak way louder that WORDS...... so my wish is to keep this thread with as little words as possible and just share, among your collection of BLU RAY CONCERTS (not CD pls), which one have you played most frequently and why? ************************************************************************************************** Among my collection of 50+ concerts, the one I play most freqently is > https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/History-of-The-Eagles-Parts-1-and-2-Blu-ray/67884/ https://www.amazon.com/History-of-The-Eagles-Parts-1-and-2-Blu-ray/dp/B00BSBUZT6?tag=bluray-000-20&linkCode=xm2&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER While I am not a hardcore eagles fan, the sound quality of the 45 min 1977 concert is simply AMAZING! Kids, wife, relatives, hell basically everyone will enjoy it! The 2 hours+ documentary is also very very interesting (wife and kids also enjoyed the documentary!) ************************************************************************************************** The second most played concert is > https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Roy-Orbison-Black-and-White-Night-Blu-ray/858/ https://www.amazon.com/Roy-Orbison-Black-and-White-Night-Blu-ray/dp/B0017XFP4U?tag=bluray-000-20&linkCode=xm2&m= Why? Pismo Mac Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Still Black & White Night for me. I recently bought Black & White Night 30 on Apple TV which is a re-edited version of the concert special and features “five never-before-seen alternate performances”. I’ve also bought Queen: Live At Wembley on Apple TV. The surround sound mix wasn’t what I expected but I enjoyed the atmosphere and showmanship nevertheless. The other one that I had watched previously that had a really good sound mix and video editing was Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour. Everything was so seamlessly done and this was probably the next best thing if you missed the actual concert. I am certain that the atmosphere at the actual concert itself would be tremendous. Of course, nothing beats attending an actual concert itself. It’s not something that you can recreate easily with a living room home theatre system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
