Hillviewer Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Using an attic room for HT. The ceiling starts at 1475mm, slant up at 45 deg, and goes up to 4950mm. I am thinking of doing a ceiling grid to bring it down to 3300mm. That will be easier for me to mount and play around with acoustic panels and projectors. Thinking of a few options 1. The 600x600 like most offices do. The concern is will it be stable after suspending from 1650mm and whether it can take the weight of projector and wood diffusor. 2. Metal rods down with a wood 1200x1200 grid 3. Metal rods down with 1200x1200 grid using steel square hollow section or U channel or Universal beam the look of the grid is not important. This is a room that my wife let me do what I want. ;) Any suggestion welcome. Thank in advanced.
