qflyer Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/bullying-mee-toh-school-ong-ye-kung-12523906 She said there's "only a handful of Malays" in the school and her two sisters who went to the school have been the target of racist remarks. She also said she has contacted the school and teachers, but nothing was done Nothing was done. There has to be consequences. The school principal and teachers have to be removed. https://meetoh.moe.edu.sg/our-staff/staff-profile/school-leaders Looks like a prc principal.
Chowbotak Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 https://mothership.sg/2020/03/bullying-singapore-school/ Wah, Tan Chun Jin was of not much help it seems. Now minister have to step in "I'd suggest you don't make this a public spectacle"??? Sent from my G3226 using Tapatalk
Boxerfan88 Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 This is horribly bad, worst still the administration/teacher involved did not heed multiple feedback from the parent. MOE ought to transfer out the school administration/teacher(s) involved in the case; and then send in a fixer from MOE HQ. Following that, audit all other schools for any such active cases that have been swept under the carpet.
dong Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Does a primary school need 3 vice principals?? It'll be interesting to see if these VPs are related to each other or to the principal.
