Darren asked me to post some more pictures of his amp I rebuilt for him this was a non-working 717 when I purchased off the bay in the US.Was filthy inside and out needed the boards done glue cleaned and recapped.I went beyond just a recap disassembled most of the switchs and cleaned the contacts most people will just spray deoxit in the switchs and call it clean well they are not clean they still will have corrosion and no cleaner will get rid of it all. Here is some pictures of the amp from start to finish. The transistors you see on the selector board were add ons by someone else must not have had the right ones so they rigged those up,I was lucky to have some NOS ones and replaced the add ons with the correct transistors.

While I am at it I think I will add the 8080DB that I restored for a sick friend, this unit sat in his closet since 1982 and I did not know he even had it.He was moving to a smaller home and I offered to help so we started moving things and there it sat wrapped in a clear plastic bag and it kind of shocked me as he never said a word about the receiver.I asked and he says he was going to drop it off a goodwill and if I would take it there for him on the way home tick-tick I was not going to drop it off I was going to fix it and bring it back.Well he was shocked when I showed back up with it a couple of weeks later. All the fuse resistors were open glue every were so I recapped most of the receiver cleaned all the controls at no cost for the guy he was in tears to see it up and running again.Heres a few pictures.
