Upfront
Poor bastard. If you were in Perth you could borrow my set up for a few weeks. After she lives with that for a while she'd be happy with anything you asked! Good luck with the sale
MooneeBeach
Is there any whip marks on the speakers? Photos? Speakers are in pretty good shape - not mint, just a few tiny marks. These have always been cleaned with a micro-fibre cloth.

A J
That colour is awesome - has to be seen to be believed. I told my wife she needs to decor the room based on the speakers.

Phantom
Is there any whip marks on the speakers? Photos? What kind of question is that. The photos look good to me and they appear to be mint. I have never personally whipped my speakers but perhaps I am just not in the loop

The photos look good to me and they appear to be mint.I have never personally whipped my speakers but perhaps I am just not in the loop seriously? are you that blonde?! lol Sean's comment about wanting to get another pair in a different colour suggests that he is selling these because his other half isn't a fan of candy red. Hence the whipped reference (nice call Dralj). GLWS Sean, they look beautiful. Even if your partner disagrees!
dralj
Jokes aside, they are fabulous looking speakers, I had black ones which were awesome until my wife knocked one off the stand and dented the bottom. If they were candy apple she might have seen them earlier! I have bought from Sean and he is a reputable seller, good luck!

Kamikaze
I have had dealings with Sean and he is a very good seller and a very nice guy. I bought vinyls off him and he also lent me his Audio GD DI when I was looking to try a few USB>SPDIF devices. Good luck with the sale!
Cafad
Hi Sean, would you consider some $$ and a swap? I've got AJs pair of standard ML1s in gloss black. PM me if you are interested.

I suppose you were not aware that my post was written in jest...................hence the smiley face. Are you that blonde? Edit: to the OP: I just love the colour and I am trying to work out if I can squeeze in another pair of speakers. MooneeBeach
I would live to swap for another colour - unfortunately I've jut bought a house so I need to free up some cash. They're presently situated on a pair of B&W stands (black) which I can throw in for $150 if that helps. Not looking to sell the stands until the speakers are gone. Thanks for everyone's input. Forgot to mention: The original grills will be included. Edited January 17, 2013 by seaninbrisbane

Gordon Macfarlane
Sean , buy a pair of Gale 401a's , they always go down well with the style conscious and black and chrome is timeless. Edited January 17, 2013 by Ozcall
PKay
great looking speakers, I didn't get the chance to hear them at the Sydney Hi Fi show. The red could look pretty good in a modern pad.

Probably too big though. I should probably add that the condition of these speakers is quite a bit better than 'good' - probably 'excellent'! Gordon Macfarlane
The B&W stands are great , I have a pair under my Gales and they do a better job than the other stands I tried. If memory serves these stand were around the $700 mark new.
