Item: Dual 505 turntable

Location: Ingleburn, south-western Sydney - PICK-UP ONLY

Price: $120

Item Condition: Functionally excellent, cosmetically excellent with minor markings, but turntable cover is blemished. Refer to photos

Reason for selling: Unused and surplus to requirements

Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only

Extra Info: A clean example of a German-made Dual 505 turntable. Functionally 100% with all mechanisms working as they should. Cosmetically it presents extremely well apart from the cover. There are indentations on the inside of the cover consistent with the cover being inverted and cables being stored inside the cover. There are also scratches on the outside.

A very nice beginner turntable!

I just bought one of these for the garage system. Agree its a good TT for someone testing the water. The pitch control belt had broken on mine but it seems stable regardless. What cart's on it Pete?

I use this exact model it's pretty good for a budget TT (don't play all that much vinyl) this one looks in pretty good nick for $120 apart from the top.

You're wrong Pete. The Dual 505 is MUCH better than a beginner's TT. It will outperform any Japanese TT of the period costing considerably more. It looks cheap, but is very well engineered. $120.00 is too cheap.
