andrewvid Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Hi everyone, I'm a new one, here looking for advise at to learn about home theatres.. i am looking to buy a Home theatre system, but y budget is 1000.. I've been looking at the Yamaha YHT-498AUB, are they any good? My living room is where i'll be placing them and the size is 5m x 4m. Would this be a suitable option? I'll be using it for Movies, Music and gaming. I want something that is a decent quality and good enough for a sound enthusiast like me I've also been looking at the sherwood intimo pack and the speakers seem like good ones, though the receiver doesn't have as many features as others.. i like the Yamaha RX-V473, but of course, combining those two would be over my budget. Could anyone recommend any other decent Home theatre packs in that price range and that has a decent amount of features? (I really like the airplay feature that some Rx's have!) (lives in sydney too) I hope to learn a lot from this place! Thanks Andrew
