Searching for these speakers are like a nightmare. They only come up on the US and Germany ebay site.

Where their any sold in Australia? Any one in Australia like to sell them?

Yes, the 250Ti model was sold over here in the mid to late 80's.

I recall lusting after a pair, but as an impoverished recent migrant to these shores, ended up with a Sansui system instead.

Keep looking and you may be able to find a pair in reasonable condition.
