progladyte Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Guys, I have a WD Live TV Player coupled with a WD 1 TB Elements Hard Drive. I had a mate copy a lot of content onto the drive within their own directories. When trying to navigate my way through the menu system, when I get to the local hard drives option, all the content is lumped in together. There are no subdirectories visible at all. I disconnected the hard drive and attached it to my PC with the idea of creating special directories for each show / genre etc only to find they already exist on the drive. Does anyone know why the content is all bundled in together? Is there a special home directory I need to create after which all the subdirectories are created? With over 1583 individual files to view, I really need a faster and more convenient way to find what I want to watch rather than wading through page after page of what we have already seen before. There is an original directory called .wd_tv and I have dumped a heap of files in there so will see if that enables more logical searching. Thanks for any suggestions you might have in the meantime. Greg
