Sold: Quasimodo integrated amplifier. This amplifier is hand-built by Richard Mcdonald and delivers a lovely sweet very valve like sound.

It is 45 watts into 8 ohm and around 65 into 4 ohm. To describe the amplifier, I can only tell you what I have heard as I don't have the reviewer's gift for words. I have owned a Unison Research Unico, Gryphon Tabu and a Weston Topaz which was superb. The reason I come back to this amplifier is that it delivers the valve sound, in a very clear and detailed way, so I seem to get the best of both worlds. I am selling to simply upgrade to a more powerful Quasimodo amplifier.

Good Luck with the sale.

Great amps from Richard. I have recently brought a "Quasimodo" 40w with active Pre. Have it in my HT setup, driving my L & R.

Great bass, detailed, smooth highs and very tube-like midrange.
