Unfortunately I don't have the stack and I've never ever seen one............yeah.........it goes loud for a combo and is really too heavy to use as a tourer.

It's pretty much studio use only.

Has selectable valve or FET preamps and the FET gives the best clean tome I've heard on a valve amp.

(I haven't owned an AC30 but it sounds similar by memory)

I know the feeling. Makes it all worthwhile when you get what you've lusting after though.

I love the Duesenbergs as well.

Anyone out there own a Reverend?

Been playing the Bronco all afternoon, my first short scale and it's bags of fun!

It seems Broncos are still not that popular, not held in the regard as Mustangs, Musicmakers and Duosonics, but that's really why I bought it, I think they are drastically underpriced compared to other Fenders.

Wasn't really in the market for another guitar but this was so cheap in my option, I couldn't refuse. I'm sure I won't be alone in something like that!

Would love the Rod Asheton signature model

Reverend has teamed up with proto-punk guitar legend Ron Asheton (Iggy Pop & The Stooges) to bring you this unique guitar. Based on our popular Volcano model, this guitar features a korina body loaded with three Reverend P-90 pickups for a raw yet fat tone with a percussive attack. This is a perfect guitar for edgy rock tones, but is also very versatile thanks to the 5-way pickup selector, Bass Contour, and position wound pickups. Special features include a lightning bolt body logo, and Ron's signature on the back of the headstock.

Gonna have to take my LP in for a set up and perhaps a new nut or have existing nut shimmed and cut a little deeper maybe.

For some reason or another the D string is slipping out of it's slot of the nut since last Friday.

Doesn't take much effort at all, bit of a up bend and of it comes off and slips into the A string slot, pain in the proverbial.

Push a little sideways on the string above the nut and of it comes out again without any real effort.

Weird why all of a sudden that started happening, can't work it out

Bugger!

Off the top of my head..............different gauge strings or warped neck?

Nah, guitar is near new, 5 weeks old or so

Can probably claim it as a warranty issue i guess, but I be taking it in anyway for the free set up it came with when i bought it

and the tech can figure it out

Am puzzled though,, the C string did it once as well, but has given no problems since then, but the D string comes off if I look too hard at it already it seems ehe.

String is still factory installed string et all..

LP's might be on to something there regarding string size, I recently changed from Alixers (only cause they were out of stock). To a Set of Ernie Balls with over size G string, ever since the its been slipping off the nut.

If we were not talking guitars that sentence could get me into a bit of trouble. :D

Yeah..........there's a lot of weird strings around these days.

I've bought many a wrong sizing by mistake over the years.

I try to stick to Fender Bullets when I can get them.

edit - I'm keen on getting my own set of tools for DIYing all this stuff............but it can run into some dollars!

Guitar just tuned to standard and the strings are still the original strings Gibson put on em .10 to .46 I'd assume

Though I have to say i don't like em very much.

Got a.10-.46 set of Elixers at hand, but will probably just fit the ernie ball slinkies in that gauge set
