VA50 Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I have a pair of these speakers labeled LA-360ec. I cant find anything about them. They have been in my family my whole life. They were giving to me a few years ago, the cloth all shabby and chip bored boxes falling apart. I rebuilt their boxes in design tech class and made them deeper, i also replaced the cloth. Quiet a nice sounding set of speakers, good bass and a nice earthy sound. The pictures are bad from the flash, the fronts are jet black and not half see through, i might take some more tomorrow when i can get away with no flash. Anyway if anyone knows anything of them some input would be appreciated.
Full Range Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Going back in my memory bank and from the looks of them They are Linear Acoustic - 360
VA50 Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 Thanks for the reply, any idea if they were well known? what year they were made roughly?
Full Range Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I can't remember much about them and I think they were fom the 80s I am pretty sure that they were made in the USA It's the LA part that I remembered Sorry I can't be any more help
VA50 Posted September 21, 2012 Author Posted September 21, 2012 Thanks for the info, after some searching i have came across some other forums where people are restoring them. They all reckon theirs had blue cloth on the front and they have different woofers to mine. I know mine originally had black cloths and the woofers i am sure are the originals too.
