Hey guys,

Projector Newbie here, I need some feedback on a cost effective (cheap) screen for the ESPON EH-TW6000W projector.

I have seen a few motorised ones on the web on ebay, and few reputable dealers.

I was originally thinking a 120 inch screen however they seem to be out of stock in a lot of places.

So I was wondering is it worth waiting for the 120 inch screen or just get a 100 inch one? The projector will be approximate 4-5m away from the screen and seating position will be about 4 meters.

Can the Epson TW6000W project a 120 inch image with decent quality? or would 100 inch be better in this case.

Thanks for your help in advance guys.

Cheers.

From only 4 meters away screen height NPA (net picture area = white screen area) should be a max of 1300mm.

Which makes 100" 16:9 (or just under) ... perfect.

If you go too big, the viewing experience is like being in the very front row at the cinema ie: too much screen to take in.

These guys are worth dealing with IME.

I dunno, i sit 3m away from a 140'' screen, and IMO that's the whole idea of having a big screen. Factor in the black bars on 9/10 movies assuming the OP is going 16:9, and you've all ready lost a good part of the screen size...

I might be interested in selling my Aussiemorphic Mk3 and corrector to help you get rid of the black bars, if you are interested...
