Nada Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 (edited) Well here is a heads up to Aussie ingenuity in one of its better audio reiterations as a Marantz CD-50 modded with the Zenelectro Clock with I2S to a TDA1541 Double Crown Chip recently all sold in our very own forum. This might well be one of the better CD playback systems possible to obtain with a great clock directly decreasing jitter via I2S to the classic DA chip cared for by excellent power regulation. It would be fascinating to hear this alongside the Supratek DAC that has similar design philosophy with its low jitter I2S transport and tube rectification and output but using the very modern as opposed to the above vintage DA chip. Hmmmm. Edited September 13, 2012 by Nada
Steve M Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Hi Nada, Thanks for the enthusiastic words, but just to clarify not quite all sold yet ...lots of interest though. Steve.
