Blaine The Audioaddict Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) I'd look into some Harbeths. they seem to be EXACTLY what you are looking for. thanks for suggestion. thought about Harbeth, but has been mentioned that they are best for jazz, classical, and vocal, which are the least of my music collection. while they sound great, they don't rock out, and electronic music a big no with harbeth, well the ones in my price range anyway. PMC's are sounding REALLY awesome. they certainly do need long break in to sound best. Filling the stands with sand sounded best with minimal amount like 20cm fill. too much fill they sound less lively and less musical and become a bit boring too 'dead' sounding. I'm very happy with PMC speakers. they are a keeper. Edited October 2, 2012 by blaine78
bhall41 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I similarly found that my PMCs (FB1i) required a long break in, before they started sounding their best. Blaine: pleased you are enjoying yours.
Blaine The Audioaddict Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 Vinyl purchases have increased, tight budget for food. I leave the house less nowadays.. the Rega and PMC's are to blame!
bhall41 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I know what you mean. I often times can't wait to get home to play some music on my beauties. 1
