Soundscape Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Hobocombo, another discovery I made on dime. Moondog's canonical music translated into psych post-rock shoegaze drone, 'n stuff. I like their style. Vimeo links supplied for quality and artistic integrity http://vimeo.com/20139859 http://vimeo.com/11028299 "Hobocombo is a Moondog tribute band, featuring Andrea Belfi at drums, percussion and voice, Rocco Marchi at guitar, synth and voice, Francesca Baccolini at double bass and voice. Hobocombo re-interprets some of Louis Hardin's pre-minimalist tunes, canon based songs and his odd snaketime rhythms with drums, double bass, electric guitar and voices. The result are beautiful and hypnotic songs, with a contemporary psychedelic feeling."

Freedom Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I have said in another thread that I am NOT a Robbie Williams fan! With the exception of the 'Knebworth' concert video. Now before you call me 'soft', I don't like all the songs (by a long stretch) BUT there are a few classics here if you can weed them out. One 'notable' is 'Me and my Monkey', check it out ! But try to watch it on a decent sized TV and in surround sound if possible to get the 'vibe' of the whole experience. 2
Two Flies Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) Same here SP Williams for me is one those artists you either like them or loath em I'm in the later, but have always had a great regard for the way grabs the crowd shakes them and won't let em go until his good and ready. Michael Jackson and Angus Young who I've seen live on a few occasions are the same, as soon as they hit that 1st note they've got you. Edited December 11, 2012 by MC240
