I tried.

I really did.

Class A/B dual mono integrated.

Class A MonoBlocs.

Class D MonoBlocs.

Flirtations with Class A/B Stero Power Amps.

After a brief affair with valves late in Summer via the MiniWatt N3 I thought I'd had a taste and understood.

I was wrong.

Fast Forward to September and I have now officially joined the club of The Converted.

My class D MonoBlocs remain partnered to the SF Luito's BUT the ML-1's now SING...

Yum!

Almost worth a trip to BleakCity to see this(and my daughter if justification is really needed!)

Wonderful stuff.

Edit: It must be wonderful when you come home and open the apartment door and your automatic glance is to the window and the 'Gear' and irregardless of your day, I bet a slight smile inwards or outwards escapes. It's a lovely looking set up and the sound would be beguiling and alluring and try to get that in real life on a regular basis without strings attached :)

Congrats :thumb:

As you have found, like all amps.... valve amps come in lots of different flavors.

Now! to keep that sig, you may need to get some big ass valve mono's ;)

I like what you did with the last pic.

...Thx Datafone... I did look as BiG Ass mono Valves but as I'm sure you're aware they are painfully expensive :(

However I digress...this thing is incredible. The transformers do a stunning job to ensure current delivery and bass grip. AND they are dead silent.

Yeah, I agree in regards to the cost.

I'm not too surprised you are liking it with the ML-1's, something about the pairing of ML-1's and valves :love

Edited.
